The foam headrests many velomobiles are provided with tend to break down and develop a smell over time. The goal of this headrest to provide a long-term option that will not smell. Available in two softnesses. The more firm option may provide better cushioning in the event of an accident, similar to the headrest in a car. The softer version will provide more comfort, but potentially less cushioning in an accident. Also available is a 4cm version of the stiffer headrest. This version is best suited for velomobiles with a fairly flat headrest as it does not as easily bend to fit the shape of curved headrests. Please note that the material the headrest is printed from will be stiffer in cold weather and softer in hot weather.
