Under EU rules for goods purchased and shipped within the EU, if the goods you buy turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, Northland Velo.nl will repair or replace them at no cost. If this is impossible or cannot be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a full or partial refund. You always have the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee from the moment you received the goods. However, national rules in your country may give you extra protection.
The 2-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods.
If a defect becomes apparent within 1 year of delivery, you don’t have to prove it existed at the time of delivery. It is assumed that it did unless Northland Velo.nl can prove otherwise. In some EU countries, this period of “reversed burden of proof” is 2 years.

Under US law, Northland Velo is not required to accept returns on goods shipped within the USA. Northland Velo reserves the right to deny returns of US based orders for reasons other than defects or substantially not as described. If your item is not as described or defective, please contact us immediately at info@northlandvelo.com to arrange a replacement. Please note you will be responsible for shipping costs for the exchange of the defective item.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, specifically custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), hazardous materials, and flammable liquids. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. This ruling does not apply to orders shipped outside the EU.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
