Everyone has a different way to relax on vacation. For some it’s basking in the warm sun on the beach, for others it’s experiencing other cultures in exotic destinations, exploring nature while hiking, canoeing, or fishing on a quiet lake. Still others prefer a quiet staycation at home. Me? A proper vacation is a week or two cycling through quiet countryside in my velomobile. This summer will be my tenth…

What are Tariffs and What Would They Mean for the US Velomobile Market With the recent proposed tariffs from the current US administration, I’ve been fielding some concerned questions about how this could impact importation of velomobiles to the US. I’ve owned 4 velomobiles so far, each unique in their own way. Two were classics, one of which was a homebuilt copy, and the other an older used model. My other two were early editions of hot new models. All of them got at least 1,000 miles of quality riding in a variety of conditions, ample opportunity to put each bike through its paces. Of these four velomobiles, one has become my all-time favorite.
